Rules
- Award recipients must be residents of the United Kingdom.
- Nominees for Young Social Entrepreneur must be under 31 on 1 January 2007.
- Winners from the past 2 years cannot reapply in the same category unless there have been significant developments.
- Nominators must justify each nomination with practical indications as to why the nominee should be considered for an Edge Upstarts Award by fully completing the online form. All nominations must be accompanied by contact details for both the nominee and the nominator.
- The organisers reserve the right to reject any or all nominations for failure to provide correct contact details.
- The judges may require further supporting information from nominees. Failure to provide any requested information may result in the rejection of the nomination.
- Entries and nominations may only be submitted online using the form provided.
- All nominations must be received by 8 April 2007.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
- Invitations to the award ceremony are at the discretion of Edge Upstarts.

- The information given in the application forms should be accurate and concise.
- The name of the nominee and the reason given as to why they should win will appear publicly on this site. For an example see nominations so far.
- You may nominate yourself.
- Nominees may be entered in more than one category if they fulfil the criteria.
- Nominees may be entered by more than one nominator.
