Loan Consultation and possible Loan offer from the Local Investment Fund
The Local Investment Fund is a national organisation that makes loans of between £25,000 and £250,000 to not for profit organisations across the UK. LIF has agreed to a loan consultation with the winner of the Young Social Entrepreneur category, with the view to offering a substantial loan to help their business become stronger and more self-sufficient in the long term.

SEE Companies Evaluation
SEE Companies accreditation requires transparency and accountability across a broad range of SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL and ETHICAL (SEE) issues. To gain accreditation, companies must first complete the evaluation process. Evaluation helps a business to better understand and respond to SEE issues, provides it an opportunity to assess its performance on SEE issues, and also gain fresh perspectives on its values, aims and objectives. The £500 fee for evaluation is waived for this year's Edge Upstarts social enterprise of the year.
