The winners in each category of this year's Edge Upstarts awards will receive:
Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year
LaptopBusiness Support Coaching and Training Package from The Innovatory
A business support and training package consisting of four days support starting with a business diagnostic and one to one training leads analysis, leading to a programme of support comprising: mentoring, coaching, professional legal and/or financial advice, and/or bespoke ICT or management training.
Loan Consultation and possible Loan offer from the Local Investment Fund
The Local Investment Fund is a national organisation that makes loans of between £25,000 and £250,000 to not for profit organisations across the UK. LIF has agreed to a loan consultation with the winner of the Young Social Entrepreneur category, with the view to offering a substantial loan to help their business become stronger and more self-sufficient in the long term.
NESsT Toolkits
A collection of key publications from the NESsT Tools for Practitioners series and the NESsT Learning Series including: Get Ready Get Set (basic level instructional manual on how to start a social enterprise), All in the Same Boat, Risky Business, Profits for Nonprofits.
Social Entrepreneur of the Year

SSE programme - weekly or monthly programme
A fully funded place (worth £5,000) on one of SSE's courses will go to this year's winner, subject to the winner's suitability for the learning programme.
Membership to SEL
A free membership to SEL will go to this year's winner. Members receive regular email updates bringing you crucial up-to-the-minute information, invitations to quarterly networking events and the opportunity to sell your goods and services on the SEL e-commerce website.
Social Enterprise of the Year
Free membership to the Work FoundationA year of free corporate membership with The Work Foundation valued at up to £1,500. Members receive access to the Work Foundation's Employment Law Helpline and Employment Law Seminars, and to a library of work related journals, publications, fact sheets, HR statistics and other information. The winner will also receive invitations to series of development workshops that address Coaching, Performance Management, Personal Development and Leadership.
A year's membership to SEL
The winner will receive a year's membership to the Social Enterprise London (SEL) network.
SEE Stamp Accreditation
SEE stamp accreditation free of charge for one year. The SEE Stamp is accredited only to companies prepared to undergo the most comprehensive public examination of SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL and ETHICAL (SEE) business practices in existence. It distinguishes companies that are responsible on SEE issues from those that claim to be.

Social Enterprise Trainee of the Year
LaptopA day at ECT with Stephen Sears
An opportunity to visit ECT's Greenford depot in West London. The winner will experience the process of getting the vehicles and crews on the road to deliver refuse collection, recycling and street cleansing services to 500,000 people. Meet key operational managers in both transport and environmental services, and be treated to lunch with ECT's Chief Executive Stephen Sears.

A Group IT course at Happy Computers
The Social Enterprise Team of the Year will receive a two day IT course at Happy Computers, who have been rated in the top three UK IT Training companies for the last 5 years.
Team Building day
A team building day with City Challenge, definitely a prize with a difference - there's something for everyone. No quad bikes, no flipcharts, just inspiring and fun days out where all the team can shine. With history at its heart and thought-provoking tasks to tackle, City Challenge runs courses throughout the UK. Courses aim to build morale, improve communication and enable teams to share problems and find solutions.
